The Difference
Drag to compare — mirrorless camera footage professionally color graded vs. 4K iPhone footage
Your Documentarian
I'm Tate Harrison — a Boulder-based photographer and videographer with a background in audio production, narrative film, and human psychology. I believe the best creative work comes from understanding people and the stories they bring.
I want to launch your story into the online world through the most effective form of artistic communication: video and sound.
Tate has a B.A. in Psychology, and is a former photography instructor at Boulder Valley School District. Tate is training for his FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License.
Work With Me →"Tate is very kind and curious, and naturally tells meaningful stories. He really got the essence of the clothing piece we were capturing. It turned out truly beautiful."

What I Offer
Cinematic single and multi-camera setups that make your subject feel at ease and look exceptional.
Clean, broadcast-quality coverage of keynotes, panels, and ceremonies.
Promotional content that communicates your value with clarity and style.
Studio-grade sound design and mixing — because great video starts with great audio.
The Analog Touch
Some stories deserve a softer edge. I shoot with adapted vintage lenses and 35mm film for clients who want something that feels less like content — and more like a document.
Adapted lenses from the 1960s–80s are imbued with organic bokeh, legendary flares, and gentle warmth modern optics can't replicate.
For portraits, events, and personal projects where grain is a feature, not a flaw. Film slows the process down in the best way — every frame is deliberate before the shutter fires.
